Have you heard about Blendon Choir Trip to Kings Island? If you haven't, or would like to know more, then read on. Blendon Choir Director Joshua Ice took several 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students to a choir competition at surrounding area school, Lebanon Junior High. They then professionally performed Kuwa Furaha, Shoshone Love Song, and Swing Down Ezekiel.

Kuwa Furaha consisted of Hand Motions to represent Joy in simple things. While Shoshone described the feeling of the Shoshones from past to present. Swing Down Ezekiel is a combination of two spirituals Swing Down Chariot and Ezekiel Saw the Wheel. With this upbeat tune, it was a great finale.

When the Blendon Choir professionally exited the stage they headed for a day at the park (Kings Island). While they were there, the awards ceremony took place. A shocked Mr. Ice went up to receive the award. A text was unleashed and joy was all around. The Blendon choir won first in the mixed choir division and the highest score of the day!
